Patti Newton has returned to the stage for the first time since the death of her husband, Bert Newton.

The 77-year-old took part in John Foreman’s Aussie Pops Orchestra’s Mother’s Day Concert in Melbourne on Sunday, alongside David Hobson and Harrison Craig.

Patti performed a song called ‘For Bert’, followed by ‘One Day At A Time’, ‘Wind Beneath My Wings’ and ‘Unforgettable’, which was undeniably dedicated to her late husband.

As she sang, photos of Bert laced the large screen, bringing many to tears.

She then returned later in the show to sing ‘Edelweiss’ alongside Craig and Hobson, donning a top hat, stockings and heels.

What an absolute legend!
